Who are Charles & Kim Petty

 

Charles is originally from Chicago, IL. He holds a Law Degree from Duke Law School and an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.  Before becoming a full time real estate investor, Charles worked as a corporate and securities attorney for two Atlanta law firms. Kimberly, his wife, is originally from Louisville, KY.  She holds a Masters of Arts in International Development from the University of Kentucky’s Patterson School of Development and International Commerce. She worked in Marketing for Ericsson, Inc prior to going into real estate full-time.


They have been investing in real estate for 9 years.  They wanted to be able to make our own choices and determine their own worth.—and escape the rat race! Is this a lot of Money to Pay?

Well to be blunt- No. Just think about this:

I bought 2 homes from Visionary in 2005 and held them both. I pulled out about $12K on each. Both properties still have 25% equity in them. One is rented on a lease purchase at a purchase price about 10% higher than the estimated ARV before we started and the other property would be rented but my partner and I have decided to house a family from New Orleans in it rent free for a year.
